It is becoming increasingly common for couples to compose their own wedding services, especially as Civil ceremonies can take place in a range of settings. I take great pride in working with couples to create unique, meaningful and personalised ceremonies that reflect your values and ideals, your dreams and wishes, ceremonies that may be short and simple or full of tradition and ritual. Whether the ceremony is to be spiritual, multi faith, new age, agnostic or simply non-religious you will receive a personal ceremony, professionally prepared and delivered with care and sincerity. I pride myself in celebrating diversity and openness. I am a fully certified civil celebrant, trained by and a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants
Usually after an initial phone conversation I meet with the couple and we look at the elements that may be included; poems, readings, rituals, music etc. When I have developed a clear sense of what is required I write a draft and we then spend as much or as little time as is necessary shaping the perfect ceremony. I promise I'll listen and consult, and come back to you as many times as you need me to. It's your ceremony and I aim to ensure we create perfect memories of one of the most important days of your life. I will provide the ceremony you want the way you want it. If this means heading for a surfing beach in Devon or the top of Snowdon then that’s fine. The legal paperwork will be done at the Registry office at some time either prior to or following the ceremony.
My fee depends very much on the kind of ceremony you want, what's involved, and where it's all going to take place. Once we've met or spoken for a free no-obligation consultation the fee I'll quote is the final cost. I promise there will be no unexpected extras.
