Annette Furley Humanist Wedding Celebrant
"Allowing your family and friends to witness your commitment to each other and your expression of love for one another is a privilege."
Celebrations and Rituals are important.
When we mark big events in our lives it is important to recognise the differences in us all; we come from different places, have distinct experiences, values, skills and backgrounds. We see the world differently and that is what makes our communities so rich. This is why rituals and celebrations are so important and why I lead humanist wedding and partnership ceremonies
Allowing your family and friends to witness your commitment to each other and your expression of love for one another is a privilege. Doing this in a ceremony that reflects your personalities is a wonderful way to do so and something you will always remember and treasure. What makes a humanist wedding or partnership special is that it can be completely tailored to you. We’ll find exactly the right mix of words, music, tradition, novelty, old and new to reflect you.
As an experienced wedding celebrant I can help you to make your day special. I see my role as one of facilitator, the person who will help you to create the ceremony you want, providing you with ideas and helping to ensure your own ideas become a reality; to have fun in putting it all together; to provide professionalism and calm on the day; to help you to express your love and commitment to each other in the presence of your friends and family.
I have conducted ceremonies in gardens, a French Chateau, the London Eye, a Norton Bikers’ Rally, a Spanish Hacienda, Community Centres, by the side of a Scottish Loch. Where would you like yours?
"The service was exactly what we wanted and your calming presence and professionalism made everything go so smoothly"

"Thank you so much for helping to put together such a wonderful ceremony. Couldn’t have done it without you"
"The ceremony was really beautiful, you did it so eloquently, it was peaceful but fun and light. It’s a wonderful thing you do"
